Barista Course

Our professional Barista Course in Auckland trains you for real café work. Learn coffee extraction, milk texturing, latte art and full café workflow on industry-standard espresso machines.

Espresso Extraction

Master espresso extraction fundamentals — dose, tamp, grind calibration, yield and timing. Understand how to pull a balanced, repeatable shot on commercial coffee machines.

Milk Texturing

Steam and texture milk to velvet-smooth microfoam. Consistent milk texturing is the foundation of café-ready flat whites, lattes and cappuccinos.

Latte Art

Practise pouring latte art — heart, tulip and rosetta designs — from your very first class. Latte art is a signature skill that sets baristas apart in any Auckland café.

Coffee Machine Operation

Operate professional espresso machines with confidence. Understand workflow, cleaning cycles, backflushing, grinder calibration and daily maintenance for consistent service.

Course Duration

The standard Barista Course runs for 5 days, Monday to Friday, with 2-hour classes. A 10-day advanced program and weekend options are also available.

Certification

Every barista graduate receives a certificate of completion, recognised by cafés and hospitality employers across Auckland and New Zealand.

Bartending Course

Our Bartending Course in Auckland is a job-ready program covering cocktail craft, spirits knowledge and confident bar service. Small classes, real spirits, industry equipment. 18+ only.

Cocktail Making

Learn the fundamentals of cocktail making — grip, jigger accuracy, shaking, stirring, and building classic and modern cocktails to a professional standard.

Spirits Knowledge

Explore spirits and liqueurs across categories, flavour building, house syrups and the mixology principles behind balanced drinks that guests come back for.

Customer Service

Build confident customer service behind the bar — greeting guests, taking orders, handling tabs and delivering warm, efficient hospitality under real-world pressure.

Hospitality Skills

Wider hospitality skills sit at the heart of every course: teamwork, station setup, hygiene, communication and pace — the traits every Auckland venue looks for.
